New batch of ferrets, photos

I am in the process up loading the photos of the new batch of ferrets. I’m sorry I haven’t kept this up to date. Even when I’m not updating, we’re still getting in ferrets!

I got all the young ones listed but have some older ferrets who could use fostering:

Blizzard (adrenal, DEW male, scared of other ferrets, on meds for insulinoma)

Sidney (adrenal, DEW female, scared of other ferrets, being tapered off meds; currently living with Sasha who is young, healthy and beats up other ferrets)

I’ll try to get photos of them soon.

Shelter ferrets opening Christmas gifts

I’m really late, but I thought you might enjoy looking at photos of ferrets opening their gifts from Christmas. They were put on the Ferret Giving Tree (a very, very nice thing for shelter ferrets where people pick a ferret from the tree and send them gifts). All the ferrets I listed got gifts (some of which were shared with the other ferrets in the shelter).

This is Bella and Meeka checking out a bed and N-bones. They really wanted the N-bones, I think.

Fundraiser results

The fundraiser for my son was a success, despite it snowing and chasing at least half the people away. We raised about $500 for his care and will probably be doing this again some time when there is no threat of snow. 🙂

Thanks to everyone for helping and being patient. I am trying to get the ferrets adopted out that I have left. I am hopeful that my son’s budget will be approved soon and hopefully things will get back to normal (or more normal, anyway) at the shelter.

I do have several nice ferrets with health problems. If you think you could handle giving meds and “duck soup” twice a day, let me know.

Where to get EVO

If you want to find a place to purchase EVO locally, you can go to the NaturaPet Products website and click on “where to buy”. Then you put in your zip code and it gives you a list of local places. If you zoom in or out on the map, it enlarges or shrinks the region.

It’s best to call first to make sure they have it. The EVO Dog (I use EVO Dog Small Bites) is easier to find than the EVO Ferret. Interestingly enough, the formula for the EVO Cat is pretty much the same as for EVO Ferret, but the Ferret version is $4 or $5 more! The difference is in the shape of the piece.
